The abrupt Costa da Morte awaits pilgrims who want to to finish their journey to Santiago, between cliffs and beaches to lose sight of.

Finisterra Way, when the end becomes the beginning.
The motto for this route is “The end is the origin”.
Whether for reasons of faith, according to an ancient pagan tradition, or simply because the desire to go further is always the desire of those who always the desire of those who enjoy a good adventure.
The fact is that even today, as in the Middle Ages many travelers who had reached Santiago de Compostela continued their journey to Muxía and Cabo Finisterra.
Now, it’s your time to go. This will be a real odyssey.
For 8 days, you’ll follow the Way from Santiago to Finisterra.Today, unlike in the past, we know that the earth doesn’t end here contrary to what was thought in the past, Finisterra is not the end of anything, on the contrary, it’s a place that will surely take you further.

Day 1 – Arrival at Santiago de Compostela
This will be the day to prepare for your great adventure. We encourage you to let yourself wander through the streets and monuments of Santiago, then sample the region’s superior cuisine and wines before calling it a day and getting a good night’s rest.
Santiago has a unique energy, you can go around the world, but you won’t find anything like it

Day 2 – From Santiago to Negreira
The route begins in the mythical Plaza del Obradoiro, the end point of all the Caminos de Santiago.
Through woods and small typical villages, you begin your adventure towards the place that centuries ago man believed was the end of the earth.
Today our destination is Negreira, a distance of 21 kms.

Day 3 – Walk from Negreira to Santa Mariña
Through well-kept paths and farmland, we continue on a more challenging first part of the route, up and down, which is also part of this adventure.
It gets easier on the second part of our day, our destination today is Santa Marinã, the land of basketry, where women’s straw hats are works of art.
Distance: 20 kms

Day 4 – Santa Mariña to Dumbria Walk
The day is marked by the views of the Xallas River, which meanders through the vegetation in this area of Galicia.
It’s also a day to see the largest granaries in Galicia and take the opportunity to visit towns such as Oliveira and Hospital.
On this day we’ll follow the road that will take us to Muxia, but first we’ll spend the night in Dumbria

Day 5 – Dumbria to Muxía Walk
It’s going to be a tiring day, with lots of ups and downs.
But the arrival in Muxía once again charges our bodies and minds with an energy and satisfaction that only those who walk this route can understand.

Day 6 – Muxía to Lires
We’re almost there, almost to km0, the lighthouse that illuminates the northern seas.
But first there’s nothing like following the path that takes us through agricultural fields with the scent of the sea.
The Ria de Lires enjoys an important ornithological richness and remarkable examples of popular and religious architecture.

Day 7 – Lires to Finisterra
It’s a day of strong emotions, it’s the day to see the Atlantic, with the eyes of those who think the earth ends here.
Some people take advantage of these beaches to catch their own scallops.
This is the moment you’ve been walking for all week, it’s been about 120 kilometers to get here, this is your moment, enjoy every minute.
Between fishing villages, and at the end of the climb there it is, the Lighthouse, welcome to Finisterra.
You can no longer burn a piece of clothing as was the tradition in the past, but no one forbids you from toasting the moment.

Day 8 – Return Day
This is the day to return home, or to start another adventure.
